Mount Clare Christian School currently has three openings for teaching staff. We are looking for an Elementary Assistant Teacher, a Supervising Teacher in High School and an Assistant Teacher at the High School level. Our mission is to provide a quality Christ-centered education for children in our neighborhood. MCCS is an evangelistic outreach of Wilkens Avenue Mennonite Church.
We are looking for teachers who are at least 21 years of age, who are devoted to Christ, active members of a church, have experience working with children and youth and a strong academic background. Our teachers serve as role-models to students in life and faith; character and integrity are of the utmost importance.
MCCS utilizes the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) mastery system of learning. Teachers work as educational guides in the classroom, assisting students with meeting daily work goals.
The Supervising Teacher and Assistant Teacher are paid positions, however, the salaries are low as our teachers are also missionaries to the students and parents of our Baltimore neighborhood. Our tuition is only $25 per month for each student.
