It is truly a miracle to have an affordable, accessible Christian school in this neighborhood! How is MCCS able to continue when the tuition per student of $250 a year does not begin to cover the expenses of our school? We have been able to operate these past 20 years only through the grace of God, expressed through the contributions of many supporters and through teachers who know they are called to this important ministry.
Contributions of any size to MCCS are greatly appreciated. Checks may be made payable to “Mount Clare Christian School” or you can give through PayPal. If you give through PayPal it is possible to set up recurring donations. If you would like to donate expressly toward teachers’ salaries, designate “Teacher’s Fund” on the memo line. Some of our students have gone on to college or have plans to do so. Our school board has set up a scholarship fund that allows them to receive up to $2,000 for college tuition once they qualify for the scholarship. The scholarship money is disbursed as it becomes available. If you wish to donate to the scholarship fund please mark your donations “Mount Clare Scholarship Fund”. If donations are made by PayPal please email us indicating the date you donated and the amount you wish to go to the scholarship fund.

Prayer
We are very aware of the importance of prayer in this ministry. We find that our students face a tremendous battle as they enter high school, and must fight against a culture of “giving up.” Contact us at mtclarecs@gmail.com and we will send you a prayer guide with a list of current prayer requests. Please pray for us and intercede for our students.
Faculty and Staff
We also need faculty and staff. We are looking for committed believers who have a heart for inner-city ministry and enjoy working with kids. Formal teacher training or education is not required.
Volunteer
Our school could not function properly without volunteers. Volunteers needs include tutoring, building maintenance, office work, and other activities. Note: All volunteers must be fingerprinted and undergo a background check.
