Are you looking for a ministry adventure?  Are you a disciple of Jesus Christ, who would enjoy working in Inner-city Baltimore with children and youth?

Mount Clare Christian School currently has three openings for teaching staff.  We are looking for an Elementary Assistant Teacher, a Supervising Teacher in High School and an Assistant Teacher at the High School level.  Our mission is to provide a quality Christ-centered education for children in our neighborhood. MCCS is an evangelistic outreach of Wilkens Avenue Mennonite Church.

We are looking for teachers who are at least 21 years of age, who are devoted to Christ, active members of a church, have experience working with children and youth and a strong academic background.  Our teachers serve as role-models to students in life and faith; character and integrity are of the utmost importance.

MCCS utilizes the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) mastery system of learning. Teachers work as educational guides in the classroom, assisting students with meeting daily work goals.

The Supervising Teacher and Assistant Teacher are paid positions, however, the salaries are low as our teachers are also missionaries to the students and parents of our Baltimore neighborhood.  Our tuition is only $25 per month for each student.

If you are interested in learning more about one of these positions please contact Principal Gwen Martin at 443-977-0595 or e-mail her at mtclarecs@gmail.com.

(Applicants do not need a four-year degree)

Pray for our other seniors, DeQuann, Julia and Katherine, as they finish their requirements needed for a high school diploma. The MCCS High School Graduation will be held Saturday, June 17th at 11 am at Wilkens Avenue Mennonite Church. Please join us for this blessed event!
